It’s good to be Amish. At least, it will be when the zombies rise up to eat all of us. The cities are doomed when it happens. When the power goes out the people will have no idea how to stay alive. Without refrigeration food will spoil and canned goods/pantry items won’t last long, but that won’t matter a whole lot because the zombies will take the population down fast and hard.

Country folk will last longer, but farmers there are dependent on a lot of machinery and once their tanks run dry they are hosed. But don’t count them out yet, they are adaptable and may surprise us.

The Amish though, they are already set up for survival. They don’t need electricity and their equipment doesn’t run on fuel. The also hunt, so they have guns to pop the skulls of any zombies who wander through their area. As long as they watch their P’s and Q’s they should fair pretty well. That is until a large horde of zombies rolls through, or worse, a horde of city people escaping the madness.
